Instructions
Implement a 4-bit Serial Input Serial Output
(SISO) shift register using D flip-flops
-
Click on components on the left side to add them to the
circuit board.
-
Drag and drop components to move them around, connect them
using wires by dragging your cursor from one endpoint to
another.
-
You can delete components by right clicking on them and
selecting the delete option.
-
You can set the input bits to any values of your choice for
testing, by clicking on them (1 changes to 0 and 0 to 1).
-
Click on the "Simulate" button to start the clock Clk. The
output bits change at every rising edge of the clock (every
2 seconds), so you can change the input bits and watch the
register at work. The button now reads "Stop": click on it to
stop the clock. "Submit" can be used only while the clock is
stopped.
-
Click on the "Submit" button to submit the circuit once you
think you have built the required circuit.
-
Clicking on "Submit" will display a "Success" or "Failure"
message in the Observations Section according to the
correctness of your circuit. It will also display a Truth
Table verifying your circuit for different input values.
